I wonder what happened to them. I borrowed his other bike a couple of days ago, but the seat was way too high, and he had hung it back on its hook over my sister's Camero. I wasn't touching that with a ten foot pole! She would kill me if I got a scratch on it.

Not a fan of the brake placement on my nephew's bike that I borrowed for a ride today. I went a*s over tea kettle. I'm fine, couple of bruises (pride a bit bruised as well). Sis has grounded me to walks only 😟

Thanks. It was a quiet one at my sister's (for us, plenty of neighborhood fireworks). She's doing really well now that she's home from the hospital. Haven't decided when I'll head home.

When I was a kid there was a book we read in school about someone who blinded themselves with fireworks. It made quite an impression on me and I've been afraid of setting them off myself ever since.

Me either. Did get a bike ride in, on a bike I borrowed from my nephew. The seat was set a bit too high, and I didn't have the tools to adjust it any lower, but it could fold and fit in my car 🤷🏼♀️. It was nice to move and not sit. Hopefully, my sister gets to go home from the hospital tomorrow 🤞.
