Nope. Something for everyone. I just can't get into her writing style, but a lot of people love it.

I don't think I said anything that indicated that was anything I want to do. I simply asked for clarification on what you were saying.

I can't be bothered to give time to assholes when I already know what they are going to say. It won't make me think any worse of them.

I don't think I am underestimating. I think experience is the only reason he hasn't really responded to SCOTUS provocations up until the other night.

He doesn't, and he won't. Which is the correct course, IMO. Joe may be a lot of things but he is not reactionary like some of his supporters can be.

Time will tell. Unfortunately none of us know what will happen in two minutes even.
Four months is practically a lifetime to predict out.

*Of course* you're blue. This idea that concerns suddenly make us Trumpists is absurd and bullying. I'm having none of that shit.

No. As much as I like her, she would do much worse as a campaign brought her to more peoples' attention. She is a prosecutor by nature who doesn't pander, which is part of what sunk her the first time around. She is a better suited to other roles IMO.

I agree. I also think these are the hardest people to motivate, and in their minds for good reason. Time will tell if we made the case or not, because for a lot of people it is not self evident.

I have a feeling we are going to see an open revolt in some powerful blue areas against the Supreme Court, and soon-California has enough cloud to say, nope, not gonna do that, John, sorry. Then we WILL have a real constitutional crisis on our hands.

By and large, people don't vote because they don't see a reason to-their lives are difficult no matter who is in office.

No. They should be front and center in this campaign. Govs like Josh Shapiro, charismatic reps like Jasmine Crockett and Eric Swalwell. All they should be doing right now is being out there and making this case IMO.

I think the general needs to rely heavily on his foot soldiers right now. The younger generation who can more clearly make the case that this election is only the first step in beating back the wolf at the door. It's almost not about Joe at all when you think of it that way.

I think the hope was bringing a normal, competent white guy to the office would calm the waters and turn back the clock on right wing populist sentiment, but since the underlying issues didn't change, it didn't work out that way.

Part of the problem with having a gerontocracy at the head of the party is that their frame of reference is stuck in 1985. It's a different world and a vastly different opponent and it calls for different tactics and higher sense of urgency than I have seen from any of them.

I do not believe even in his prime Joe Biden was temperamentally suited for this kind of battle. He is an institutionalist who prides himself on respecting those guardrails. He is Neville Chamberlain-a competent administrator and back room negotiator-when we need Winston Churchill.

I'm in Maine, a purplish state. I don't disagree w/ what you are saying, really, but it takes a lot more than that. Georgia is a good example there too. More than history allowed those two wins. A runoff election two months out & another historically bad Republican candidate were big contributors.

I'm not sure he's his own best messenger anymore. Time to put some under-50 Democrats out there evweywhere to show support & spread that message. Voters think he is too old so maybe hearing from someone in their prime they can relate better to would be more effective. Make it about more than Joe

I don't disagree with that. But it takes more than fact finding & talking about historical comparisons to change a vote. Most people vote by id, not intellect. Target feelings & then go at facts. It needs to be multipronged & focused on changing beliefs if it is to be more than a pissing contest
