Biden is too old. But he has surrounded himself with competent people and has had a conventional first term. Trump is authoritarian but inept. He has surrounded himself with people he hopes will make him more effective at authoritarianism. Neither is ideal. But these are not similar problems.

I’ve seen that theory, but it doesn’t explain why it wasn’t as much of an issue when the limit(adjusted for inflation) was higher in the past, why other states with $1000+ limits didn’t already have a problem, why there were simultaneous increases in other states, etc

He started putting them on my side of the street, *directly* in front of my mailbox. Like actually touching it. I tried being nice a few times by moving it to a better location, but missed it last week and didn't get mail He's going to be pissed when he sees I dragged his trash can up his driveway

Have a neighbor on a flag lot that was putting his trash cans across the street. They got moved because they were blocking across the street neighbor's mailbox. He got mad one time because his trash didn't get picked up.

Even if it was in the time between closing/previous owner moving out and new owner moving in I’d raise a fuss- that’s arguably abandoned If there was a professional involved on the buyer side that didn’t explain ‘fixtures’ and didn’t discuss/negotiate 😡

I forget the exact details of the case. My coworker went in figuring they would just do their best to limit the size of the verdict. Plaintiff’s attorneys screwed it so bad that the jury questioned whether there was any injury and wanted to comp the D for being dragged to trial

One of my coworkers had a case where the jury sent a note to the judge asking if they could award the defendant money. I think that would be appropriate here.

I thankfully haven’t had to do much Worst one was for a training that gained nothing from being in person. It would have been tolerable if they had flown me down to Southern California where I have family/friends(and was the office I was technically part of), instead I got a Dallas suburb
