People in my office in Central Texas have space heaters and heated blankets in their offices because of how cold the facilities manager keeps the building.

It was one of the strangest crowds I've ever been a part of. Extremely reverent. Loud applause for every song and then complete silence until the next song started.

I take Tilley to Manor everyday and it's always like that. I'm not sure why they didn't assume drivers would always block it. I agree with you that it pretty much works as you'd hope on the westbound side.

The conflict with buses before the infrastructure changes was stressful and not fun, but the solution creates new conflict with pedestrians and a much more dangerous surprise conflict with cars (to the driver's at least). That doesn't seem like a safety upgrade.

The spots where the bike lane goes behind the bus stop and rejoins the car lanes just before a stop light is particularly dangerous.

I hate these weird painted sidewalk bike lanes that Austin is building. There are way too many close calls with drivers blindly turning right across the sidewalk and being stuck behind pedestrians taking up the entire sidewalk.

A nice mix of both. The valets for the Texas Club set up their stand in the southbound bike lane and for some Moody Center events there will be cars parked across the southbound lane. You get a lot of clueless pedestrians in the northbound lane, especially when there are events at Moody.

I have a spot where the red sidewalks takes me behind a bus stop for the 335 and merges back with the road right before an intersection at which lots of cars and a bus turn right across the bike lane. It feels like the most dangerous game of peek-a-boo.

They've been slowly adding those red sidewalk sections to my route and they always seem to make things worse. I'm generally most comfortable riding on low car traffic neighborhood streets that don't have any designated facilities.

I lost my accent when we moved from the Florida panhandle to the Arkansas Ozarks when I was a kid, which doesn't seem like something that should happen. It comes back at the most random times.
