I saw my 1.5yr old nephew yesterday. In the 6mo since I saw him last, he's gone from being a baby to a real little man. He was exhausting and adorable and he cried and gave me hugs and demanded I follow him at all times. I don't want kids (this fact was strongly reconfirmed) but I love him so much.

This is true, but it's also a nightmare because you (usually) can't work so you have to be financially self-sufficient for the duration (& typically prove that upfront). Then, permission to stay at the end isn't guaranteed.

It's a small thing, but whenever the USPS informed delivery email arrives saying there are "Mailpiece(s)" coming, I always read it as "Codpiece(s)" and picture metal crotches from suits of armor being stuffed into our mailbox. It makes me smile, anyway.
