No one said it was their fault. But many elected Dems will take the same course as the dissenters on the bench (which is saying words, however “fiery”, and a distinct lack of meaningful action)

Yes it is. That's the great thing about living in a representative democracy: it is ALWAYS your fault. You never, ever, not even once, get to blame anyone but yourself for the failings of the system. If you think it's not your fault, you simply are too weak to see what you REALLY needed to do.
