I'm a substitute school teacher. Former Army, air cavalry door gunner, shot expert on M60 and M16. Exactly what they say they want for armed staff. I keep telling ppl MY TRAINING WAS FOR A HIGH INTENSITY SET PIECE BATTLEFIELD, NOT A SCHOOL HALL FILLED WITH KIDS. Oh, and I'd be shot by the cops.

This actually why I don't carry at all. Chances of me being domed by the cops before I can be a hero are like 100%

The people who think that arming teachers (or themselves) is a solution have the same flavor of brainrot as the folks who think that the solution to the horrors of global capitalism is to tear it all down and rebuild from the ashes. Too much adventure fiction, not enough reality experience.
