Reality is saying it. His near absence of live/unscripted events, not just last six months but *especially* in the week plus since debate, is the dog that isn’t barking. He & campaign should frantically be doing all sorts of live events to counter & create a new narrative. Yet that’s not happening.

I mean, he has done a handful of live events since then. And while I could understand someone as a Democrat wanting him to make more campaign appearances but as an American I'd prefer he focus on running the country.
