We agree both exist, but I think people touchy about ageism are in denial about the inevitability of decline. Regardless, circling back to my original- how should we discuss ending gerontocracy w/o being perceived as ageist? We can at least mention it when someone discusses ageism in America, yes?

The. Original. Post. Is. About. Ageism. We should be able to discuss it on its own? Just as we should be able to discuss the problem of a gerontocracy without bringing in ageism. Why are you trying to make this hard? It’s really not hard.
