Abortion was effectively on the ballot in 2016 and 2020, too, to anyone with half a brain. They failed and have failed Dems for 20 years. Might as well be honest.

Effectively on the ballot and literally on the ballot are pretty different - plenty of folks didn't believe Roe was in danger in 2016

I seriously think that abortion alone cannot win elections because the issue has an impenetrable "it doesn't affect me/only affects THOSE heathens, so idc" aspect built into it.
