Biden is not innocent (“deceived”), in any way shape or form. I don’t even think he’s pretending he is, to his credit. As a country we’ve supported a lot of authoritarian governments who’ve mistreated minorities and subjugated groups, so Israel isn’t different.

First, disparaging Zionism is not anti semetic. Disparaging Jews is. They’re different. The first I’d heard of Zionism in its current expression appeared in the late 1800’s, so if it had a nice connotation prior to that, we’re talking 130 years, so give that up, that battle is lost.

Every president except Truman let Israel expand and settle as a bulwark against ‘barbarism’ and communism which was a key selling point from zionists. (and still Truman mostly supported them doing what they wanted). Netanyahu lying to Biden as an excuse is absurd. Ofc he lied. Biden knew better.

Omg, you believe Biden was “lied to” ? You don’t really believe that I hope. “But you promised!” The US government has been supporting a bunch of anti-democratic, openly racist governments for decades, because “communism”. Israel is one of them. We do it knowingly and it’ll be the end of us.

I’m curious but part of coffee drinking is the drinking of coffee. If accidentally taking two sips causes cardiac arrest, it just seems like less fun. Their descriptions are fabulous however.
