The guy who came out was like - I can't charge you for this... I can't but... technically you are out of warranty so the office might call. They haven't. This cost us in gas/electricity/comfort - for 2 years - sigh...

There is a feature where during the winter if the furnace is running too long they worry about moisture building up in the system so the AC (heatpump) runs briefly and then the furnace kicks back on. They hooked it up in reverse so the furnace would kick on when the AC was on - sigh.

We turned it down to 68 to test it today. The issue? The company who installed it - installed it wrong and put it into a loop where every so often the furnace would just kick in... the more it was on, the more often it would happen. and I thought the price of gas had just gone up... sigh.

My AC is fixed... and I will say this truth. There is no better feeling than sitting on the couch watching TV in a cool, dark air conditioned house on a hot sweaty day (watching the guardians game).

I hate this industry sometimes.... From linked in, Manor Lords - A GAME MADE BY ONE PERSON - is not a failure because it hasn't grown into the biggest game ever and the developer didn't make enough content. They sold 2 million copies of a $30 game. IT WAS MADE BY ONE PERSON

On Criterion this month One of my favorite just mood movies - out of sight. It was overshadowed by Tarantino wanting to make movies for an excuse to say the N-word but it holds up Sweet Smell of Success - brutal & if you like your sexism overt, this is the movie for you. So well written/plotted.

We added a fucking season in Seattle. We used to have Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall and now we have Winter, Spring, Summer, Fires, and Fall... but it's cool. Totally normal stuff. Though I still remember a brutally hot day in London drinking beers... sort of remember.
