Yes, the first Women’s March was remarkable (I would say unique) in that the team made a concerted effort to organize and follow through with one action after another. In that we can (somewhat) influence Congress, but it’s the grassroots organizing not the performance art that does it.

Agree…I would also argue that the marches helped bring attention and opened people’s eyes to the threats (particularly as women) we’re facing and the necessity of becoming more involved and informed and supporting those grass root efforts.
