That’s a good theoretical solution with the challenge of getting or developing those shooters within the Cap being the obstacle. And then there’s the matter of a starting point guard. The only plausible solution is losing enough to get a lottery pick a few times. Not ideal.

Reagan started the slide where now some of the people have all of the money (and power that goes with it). That doesn’t last forever as as revolutions have taught us (France, Russia, China). Power corrupts, though, and those can turn into dictatorships. Can someone come up with a greed vaccine?

It’s hard to find anyone who can blow $44B as quickly as Musk. IIRC it took him a while to complete the purchase, which suggests he didn’t have, or didn’t want to use his own $$. Will his creditors be forgiving? That’s a lot of money, even for the Saudis, Chinese or Russians. 😉
