Another day another Boeing plane part failure. Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 now reports crack in Boeing windshield while landing in Portland.

It's not that I enjoy Boeing's culture of failure or find it funny. I grew up with them as the gold standard for many things. But they need to fix their culture. They need to be sued, mocked, and generally made to feel a public financial pinch until they stop making defective aircraft.

And no, airplane windshields don’t crack all the time. “While this does happen occasionally, it is infrequent. Pilots will descend to reduce the pressure and plan on a diversion if necessary.”
