I remember thinking the ARR quest was very funny in the moment as a one-off gag, not realizing it was a harbinger of my future. I'm just going to go back to doing Hildibrand quests at the exclusion of all else

I remember when they were reworking ARR to make it more streamlined and I was like "surely this wine hunt bullshit will get condensed" and Yoshi-P was like "WineQuest must be preserved at all costs"

There's a specific quest step I remember, where you have to go WAY out into Thanalan before you have a mount to meet Thancred, who says 'nope it's not here' THEN YOU GO BACK TO TOWN.
