Who tells their professors why they are out sick? Do these people require notes like an employer?

Court cases don’t have to be based on anything that has actually happened. A few of the recent landmark cases before the Supreme Court didn’t involve any real incidents. The professors just want a judge to say they can do this. They’ll be willing to go all the way to the Supreme Court.
