Kagan dissents tend to meticulously and ruthlessly demonstrate why the decision is wrong NOW. We need someone doing what Thomas did -- lay out a vision. His dissents were/are CRAY ... until they're law. The now is lost. Dissent FOR THE FUTURE.

Goal for next year is for me to bring that number WAY down. It's going to take some staff training and some real work at my end to let some things go. But those numbers ... whew, wake up call.

I ran a report at work and discovered that I delivered more than 55 percent of [insert generic deliverable] since last July, while my staff of 3.5 people combined for the rest. I know there is a percent that *must* be done by me, but I should probably be at ... 35 percent? Failure of delegation.

I was *always* sleepy. Did a sleep study. Bad sleep apnea. A year later with CPAP, I still do the coffee/nap adhd response described in OP on like Saturdays, but I'm no longer feeling like "maybe I should pull over and nap because this is dangerous" during my 40 minute commute.

I was so nervous during an interview I was visibly shaking & my voice was quavering (I was not on anxiety meds then) I wanted the job SO MUCH. I had worked there before & knew the role & knew I was right for it. Still there. Now the boss.

For Mother's Day, I got to control the remote, so we binged three episodes of the new season of Doctor Who (I missed the entire 13/Jodie Whitiker era and most of 12/Capaldi). Fifteen is GREAT. Maybe hooked my kids. Ncuti Gatwa is a JOY to see on screen.

I love Goldens. My immune system does not. Friend drove me to work today. She often drives her Goldens places because they are BESTEST DOGGOS. I took antihistamines. Hours later, my eyes are still watering, my throat is scratchy, my nose is running, and my head feels disconnected from my body.
