On therapy: please know that you can (and should!) switch your psychologist for one that's a better fit. Say you are diagnosed with something new be it autism, cancer, a chronic illness OR you're in a new phase of life like blending families, more partners if polyam, religious changes, etc.

There are psychologists who specialize in things! Please seek them out!! Full switch, or as added support doesn't matter. What matters is that you actually get the help you're seeking. Which cannot be done if you aren't understood or therapy is a place full of friction!
