I honestly try not to moan about referring, but the Euros and the Copa, which should have very top-notch reffing, have not exactly been an advertisement for good officiating. You can smash somebody from behind.

Lived in Chicago when they moved Lake Shore Drive to connect the "museum" campus. Even with the road being this horrific barrier between downtown and the lake, it was an insanely great improvement.

One time I was painting the inside of a house we were about to move into and only had a radio. Listened to a Democratic primary debate. Listening on radio was 100x better than watching on TV. Made me wish that was the only way they would show them. Watching on TV is excruciating.

Been watching soccer since "Soccer Made in Germany" days. I think whining has officially jumped the shark and is a definite problem now. These Euro and Copa America games are so rife with it. Would love to see cut reels for each player only devoted to their incessant whining.

Familiar. Our kid was basically vegetarian (as we were mostly vegetarian) until he was 10 or 11. I recall that bacon was the gateway drug. Now he's like a wolf. We're slowly turning it back around, but it's a struggle. "STEAK STEAK STEAK STEAK!" (we never even ate steak).
