Ribbiting Adventures Issue 2 of the The Lone Toad Newsletter has just been published! We go back in the past to the first ever published solo rpg, Buffalo Castle. A groundbreaking - yet little-remembered module - Buffalo Castle was released in 1976 and was meant to be played with Tunnels and Trolls.

So what was the idea? Well just like any Elder Scrolls start, your locked up some how. Your choices start building the stats for your character and teaching how the 'moves' work. So if you choose to break the prison door down, you add a 3 to Iron and make a Face Danger Move. I think it's cool

I have spent many fond evenings and weekends in the mountains, standing in freezing water and fishing with my dad. All of the love of fishing that he passed to me went into the making of this mini-game for @rpdeshaies.farirpgs.com "Tales of the Burned Stones."

Hey rpg question. Are there any ttrpgs that focus on a group of players piloting a single vehicle like a tank or mech? I know there are plenty of SciFi RPGs with space combat rules but I'm looking for games where that's the focus, if they exist. Thanks!

Prompt #1 was the first bit I wrote for Dead Stick and I think it's just a painfully beautiful situation. Journal about these and other situations in Dead Stick, my soon to be released solo rpg about being a ground crew member in a war that is bleeding everyone dry.

Good questions! I was thinking something more campaign based and gothic for me is that moody, dark,.victorian horror with a tinge of romance and of course some tragic back stories.
