Periodically, I like to reread my favorite Scottish poem: Batman's Aff His Nut by Robert Florence.

My husband's work set-up involves a lightning cable. He plugs it into one port, everything works fine. He plugs it into the other one, he gets no sound on video conferencing. Tech is a magical thing

I find it funny because when I was a kid we used to vacuum our cat directly (and she needed it; longhair in a near tropical climate) but zizou has only just now ventured upstairs again

Portrait of a cat who would like to be upstairs in the warm sun but what if the fell monster (i.e. the vacuum) is still up there?

The way USB-C can just plug in either way up honestly feels like cheating

Oh wait I think I have met that guy - trapped in a magic prison of light in the mage tower and he shouted a lot at me?

I mean, like... what I WANT is for her to put him on his knees and for him to be wildly, shamefully into it, and then for them both to catch feelings, and I don't think the game will hit the spot on that... but I will keep my eyes open for opportunities π

Also Morrigan and Alistair keep bickering while I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing and I am thisclose to cracking open AO3 and hunting for fic but I feel like I should probably finish the game first...

Honestly, there are so many questionable fashion choices going on, but I do love the male corsetry, and Morrigan's "less is more" approach to adventure wear

ooh, can I? I was having a look for a button like that (because I didn't put all this work into my character's hair to not admire it all the time!) but I couldn't find it on cursory inspection. I'll have a closer look!

Maybe eleven hours into this, and the amount of that time I have spent singing "I don't know what I'm dooooiiiiiing" is not to be underestimated
Also why are all of the hats so stupid? Everyone in my party looks like a doofus, especially me

My big sticking point is so often blocking. Who's standing where? Facing which way? Even as I'm shouting at myself that it doesn't matter, I can finesse it later omg

(Sorry, missed this one when my kid got sick; never too late for dragon though!)
Waking a dragon who trashed a quarter of the upper city, including the Palace of Justice itself, was a new low, even for him, but Siyon wasn't going to make the mistake of thinking he'd found something he couldn't top.

On my plan for cleaning the house before holiday time, today is supposed to be vacuuming everything, but the kid (who hates the vacuum) is home sick, and that means the cat (who also hates the vacuum) is prowling nervously, and fine maybe everything just stays dusty

"Enough." Shakeh Badrosani didn't raise her voice, but it sliced through noise like a hot knife anyway. "You three, get lost. Leave him. He's no threat like this."

ok, so if I bought all of the Dragon Age games in the Steam sale, is there anything I should know before I go leaping in (with my gung-ho tendency to whack things first and read text boxes later)? π

The building was wreathed in ivy still covered in leaves despite the winter chill, except those leaves were a deep purplish green, and seemed to reach out as she passed. Just one more oddity in a city now full of them.

This is so true, though. Where the boundary between acceptable and non lies, and how it's enforced, and who by... that's fundamental definitions of a society right there
