It's not Biden ostensibly tanking that one debate that's giving me the chills. It's the immediate collapse of the Dem coalition, running around with their hair on fire. It sickening and not giving me any faith in these people whatsoever. If we lose it will be cause of this. Cowardice under fire.

Yeah. I don't want to say it's political cowardice, but it's getting harder not to. I'm guessing Biden wanted to go out quietly on a platform of stability, not bare knuckled fighting. But the Project 2025 crew is not going away. If he can't step up, then he needs to step aside.

Go on the offensive. Attack the Project 2025 coalition like the enemy of the state it is. Make the election about a referendum on democracy vs. tyranny. No holds barred. Oh, and fire the strategists who thought the debate was a good idea.

My take is that Biden's age is only an issue if that means he lacks the energy to go to battle. He was elected to bring stability, but the people now behind Project 2025 refused to go quietly into the night. If he can't recenter and come out swinging, he needs to step aside.

Home Depot is doing this, too, which may alter my shopping there. The problem is these companies are run by people who believe the companies' only purpose is the enrich the shareholders. They hold no other societal function than that.

Just an outsider here, so take my opinion for whatever it's worth. It seems to me that Biden could recover from a disasterous debate and collapsing coalition by treating Trump as exactly what he is: a convicted felon and demonstrable enemy of democracy. Come out swinging. Forcefully. Bare knuckled.
