Oh yeah I eventually marked up the whole document pointing out what came from my paper and where. 70% of the writing was mine. 7/8 graphs were mine. 38/44 entries in the appendix chart were watered down from my chart. And their methodology had nearly same search terms (produced 38/44 same results)

I emailed my old university and they said they’d cooperate with an investigation but wouldn’t do anything otherwise and said to try emailing the journal he submitted to and his department he works at now so I did. The chair there said give him a few days to inquire about it so just waiting game rn

All emails between us, every draft I sent & most of my notes. I know he knew what he was doing bc in an email he said “let’s cut the requirements graph” so in my submission to the conference that graph doesn’t appear but it’s in “HIS” paper bc he stole it from my drafts I was required to send him!

Those are the basics they should tell every first time cat owner. Also inside only cats generally have a longer life expectancy and it’s not cruel to keep them inside at all. But I know different places and cultures have different ideas about that. Also re: lilies—will easily, quickly kill a cat

No lilies. In fact no flowers at all to be safe tbh. And most cats are lactose intolerant. The rule of thumb is one litter box per cat plus one. Scoop daily and full clean weekly when possible. Know that cats are great at hiding the fact they’re sick when they are so you gotta monitor excrements etc

I just found out I was plagiarized on a technical paper I wrote several years ago. My professor stole my paper and took me off the list of authors. Put me in acknowledgments “thanks for his careful comments in earlier drafts” when I wrote by myself the entire first draft.

I grew up in MS and the holiday at my school the only thing written on the official calendar was “Robert E Lee day.” And you know… it was one of those places where you “learn” that many slave masters were very kind to their slaves and the war was really about states rights.
