This week has been a disaster work wise, thanks to one of our suppliers. This week my boss is also on holiday. AND, now I can’t even order knife blades on our work Amazon acc. because for some reason, it won’t accept my boss’s DoB for age verification. He’s mid 50s!

Was thinking earlier, a hydrangea plant could be a nice option too. They can get thick & bushy, but are controllable. You’ve got the commons ones usually seen everywhere in pink or blue, or go for something different like a piniculata type, but there are many types. I’ve two lovely ones which >>

I walked past a house with one in a large pot today, wish I’d grabbed one from a local store when they had them. But I don’t need more plants/shrubs/trees. 😅

Yes, would be a nice option. Nice sunny spot with good drainage and a good rose feed.

Yeah, it comes down to restricting the root growth. And yes, tree surgery is expensive. My nephew had a tree removal business, but he’s not a tree surgeon, he employs trained people to do that.

Also, I’m certainly no expert about trees, but i have several trees in my garden (in the ground, not pots) all which have gotten out of control at one point or another. Some have had to be removed as they are too big as garden trees. Well, unless you have a small field for a garden.

Aww, that’s a lovely thing to do. 🫂 My mum put her cat’s ashes into a large pot with plants, but that was because she was renting and wanted to be able to take the pot with her when she moved. Most trees put into the ground have the potential to get big. I’ve noticed flamingo trees are getting >>

Today I had 2 young fog trees delivered. Little Miss Figgy they are called. They grow up to 1.8m/6ft, but are more bush like, spreading about 1.4m than tree looking. I also have a raspberry tree. That will get to the same height. These pics are from the company I have them from.

You can contain the size of fruit trees by planting them in pots (would want a decent size though) instead of the ground. Their size is determined by the root space. You can get grafted apple trees, where they are planted on a stem/root suitable for containers. >>
