Every time something terrible related to race or authoritarianism happens white people tell me I need to panic more. Friend. Just because this thing is brand-new to you doesn't mean it's new to me. Trust me. WOC tend to have been yelling for years already about the thing you just discovered.

* BIPOC have been having conversations amongst ourselves since 2016 about what point would it be prudent to leave the country & where to go if we did. ** Leaving a country is not that easy. And I'm not just talking legalities. Uprooting yourself from community & learning a new culture is HARD.
