But it needed a clutch when I sold it, which I wasn’t about to try in the driveway. That was a two years or so after they went belly up, so parts weren’t impossible to get but getting tricky. I had a shop that seemed to know how to work on them, but repairs took longer and longer…

I had done a fair amount of maintenance on it (brakes, plugs, o2 sensor, etc) so I had those tools. There was a little circuit board behind the headlight switch that had bad solder; every so often the headlights would quit- kept a battery powered soldering iron in the glove box for that.

I used to have the opposite problem on Mac + Posit. If I downloaded a project from the fall workspace, Safari would auto-uncompress the zip, so I’d have to manually zip it before re-upload for spring (as Posit expects to unzip…) Settings change in Safari fixed that.
