I’ve seen a lot of mockery of this, which makes no sense. People (including me) loved Howard Dean’s 50-state strategy and what is this but that on a local scale? Each Democrat running, even in the reddest district, has the chance to boost turnout or persuade people. That is vital! Why mock it??

i think a lot of people on the left feel their responsibility to is to critique Democrats and not build power and that's fine for them.
