New Fall COVID vaccine *must* target KP.2. This variant and its relatives are showing extraordinary immune escape characteristics, really compromising previous (humoral) immunity. To avoid an enormous Fall surge, the updated shots should be recommended for all age groups.

CDC has recommended the booster for all ages. FDA recommendation is JN.1, but they are asking for KP.2 strain "if feasible." (They changed their recommendation a little later than is ideal for manufacturers). Get. Your. Shots.
