I wrote a dissertation on how media and politicians have used the framing of “radicalization” to alienate, exclude, and discriminate against Muslims. You can find it easily. The above rhetoric is exactly the type of thing I have worked to counter.

During my time as a graduate student, this person cultivated what I felt to be an unprofessional relationship with me. This impacted me for many years on the tenure-track and continues to make me feel uncomfortable today.
