It’s such a unique irritating feeling knowing someone isn’t evil, just very indoctrinated in apathetic whiteness. You can only free yourself by breaking your ppl’s generational obsession with “order,” being “polite”, and the idea of “niceness”. Become aware of the harm it causes.

We analyzed this speech in class, and I was demoralized. One, they didn't want to read it in its entirety they wanted to look for the answers. Two, none of them got this point at all. 😭
