we had a 50's cape with radiators outside Boston. We put window ACs in the upstairs and plastic strip sheeting at the top of the stairs for an air barriers. If we hadn't moved there would have been some serious renovation.

A lot of New England is oil though, and we were a lot more than 100 in the winter (also an old house though). Also a lot of the NE housing stock is old so installing window ACs is expensive, loud, and inconvenient which probably doesn't help normalize it. Mini splits will fix that I guess.

You need to figure out criteria first, like the Dak play wasn't objectively the worst play call, but had some pretty disastrous failure modes. Do results matter, or just the play as called being a terrible idea?

It's saying that the artist receives 6375 to complete the work, which is estimated at 14 months. There's more money later, but it isn't up front so doesn't help your immediate cash flow issues.

I think having natural travel checkpoints is probably the more important factor. Manhattan is pretty much the dream case. You could toll 93, but that leaves a million other entry points and no clear diving lines.

My best (and nearly only) gambling involved a bar in the Netherlands where I didn’t understand the language or machine and managed to win 3 bucks or so, but then won 4 double or nothings in a row trying to work out how to cash out. So that was lucrative for the time.

My dad was a cheap bastard, so donating regularly for charity AND a spaghetti dinner was way too much to pass up. We started together and I’ve kept it up to honor him. Monday will be 8 gallons at VA RC, not counting pre digital records they’ve lost and all my MA donations.

So I evidently live near one of the highest volume costcos. But they've really upped their game as well, so that they tend to have 12 express registers fully staffed on weekends. If you know the 10 things you want, and stick them in the cart tag up, you can be in and out super fast.

Probably not for once. Around here prices run brand name grocery super sale < costco < discount grocery = grocery sale < grocery. And certain things are much cheaper at costco, but brands can be limited. But if you aren't searching for sales, and understand when you can make a fast trip...

I actually like going postal as an intro, it’s way more modern and flows better than some of the older works, doesn’t have too many older character callbacks that are inscrutable, and is a strong standalone story that ties the theme to modern life.
