And of course there continue to be multiple ongoing genocides in the name of colonialism, capitalism, and consumerism. Because if course there is. Why would that stop? I believe the term for this is like calamity fatigue? I could be wrong but that term is stored in my head for some reason.

I saw an infographic yesterday that compared annual cost of care vs average life expectancy. To the surprise of no one, the USA had the lowest ALE and highest cost of care. Walmart/target/etc just dropped costs on necessary goods, showing that they could all along and were literally just fleecing us
