We were invited to dinner at a friend's place and I'm like, what if it's a cult or a trap? Sure, we should socialize, but have you considered the possibility of body snatchers? My spouse doesn't understand why I'm being so weird about it, but I feel like these are reasonable questions.

I can't bring myself to rewatch it. When it aired, I made it thru 2 seasons and gave up. My spouse watched all of it. I liked Phlox and Porthos, but I can't find any motivation to try to watch it again/complete it. Maybe a best of, but 4 seasons? Naw.

It wasn't always like this, but it's been this way since the mid 1800s. Winner take all districts also make it hard for smaller third parties to gain seats at any level, outside of very local government (which is often run nonpartisan. IDK what party the mayor belongs to, they run on platforms)

A lot of us here in the States have asked this question, but it boils down to the system being set up for two parties, and an entrenched government culture that won't allow that to change. It would actually be a huge overhaul, because of how we award seats in Congress/electoral votes for Pres

Man, re-reading about what happened to the poor kid at Schlitterbahn, and watching the mini doc on how the slide was designed with no safety inspection and no actual knowledge of how to design the side safely, you wonder how they weren't caught sooner.

I need to set myself a better schedule and as much as I am not a morning person, I know I will get more done if I get moving earlier. It's also easier for me to skip a workout if it gets late, so I need to switch it up. (Unless it's yoga. I can do that whenever)

Won't have that for awhile, as you know. I prefer afternoon/evening runs but morning is the way for now. Even at 8:15, it was getting incredibly hot on the race route this morning. Full sun. It was dirt paths, but still, just an incredibly hot sun beating down on us.

Ran in a 3M Aura with a valve and it was very comfortable. No issues breathing at all, even in this heat. Highly recommended.
