Oh no doubt. Hell, the Pope has a solid gold throne in one of his palaces. They take in $65bn annually. It's something like $6.6bn to feed the world's hungry for a year, IIRC. "As much as ye have not done it unto the least of these, ye have not done it unto me." Just sayin'.

They make a show: like they're all righteous for making donations to help the poor. We have a Catholic charity storefront about 6 blocks away and to their benefits, they are helpful.
