Texas Latino Comic Con is coming on July 20th, at the Latino Cultural Center in Dallas, TX. A day full of community, amazing stories, incredible art and lucha libre matches! It's exciting to be there with many of my favorite people in this town 🥰

If art directors and independent authors (really anyone who may need some art) out there want to find artists they can be 100% sure are human made, I’d encourage you to go to Cara.app , it’s exploded in # of artists recently and is completely wall to wall human made art

Thank you Debbie! Yes, the first times are super nerve-wracking but I have no idea how 13 yo me conquered the fear! It was a privilege to practice it since we were not rich. I learned a lot about myself, and tons of tricks to focus and controlling my nerves for the jumps! It's like flying!

I used to practice horseback riding and it was my favorite activity in the whole world. It was the only moment my brain wasn't running 1000 km/min. I wasn't half as bad, but not good enough nor had enough budget to continue. I hope to be able to practice again 🥰

If you are part of Cara, there is a donate button at the top of the main page. DO NOT donate through random links on any social media - there are a lot of impersonators! Jingna has mentioned that they are working on solutions, they just didn't expect this sudden explosion so they weren't ready yet

I'm worried about Cara getting crushed under this amount of pressure and new signups. It's great seeing people sign up, not so great knowing that if this issue isn't solved immediately, they could crumble. I REALLY don't want Cara to fail - they desperately need donations while change are made

I dare to say that Tajin is just one of the many powders that you can find to top your snacks. I'm still trying to find a recipe for the one that Esquite (corn in a cup) or Coconut vendors use in my hometown! And, in this case, corn in a cup style varies from north to south!

Mexico is a blend of so many cultures. The food that most people know is just a tiny, homogenized sample of the diversity in ingredients and influences. Carne asada is just the surface! There's Spanish, Italian, Lebanese, Chinese, Dutch influences among others + the food from the Original Pueblos 🥰
