There is something that scares and fascinates me about AI. I'm checking out Google Gemini to see if it can help me with certain research and processing work, and found out it could "write scenes" based on a prompt. So I tried one. Brand makes fun of Rune eating a twinkee. My job is safe.

Great idea - thank you! I'm lucky to have a local groomer who comes very highly recommended, too. I'll do whatever she and my Vet suggest -- I definitely know Vadar's undercarriage is a big part of the problem.

Vader has a hairball problem, and they are recommending a Lion's cut. I just looked online to see what a Lion's cut looks like. With all due respect to cats with Lion's cuts, I can't help but feel I'll wake up one night with Vader perched on my chest, breathing the words, "The indignity, Father."

Quinn's prophecy was sly in this passage from THT, where Diana is interviewing Rune for the position of seneschal. Quinn, deep down, knows one of two people are in the room. His aunt or.....?

I think I just wrote one of those lines that readers really, really, really end up liking. It's the kind of line that becomes an endearment that lasts the series. Good writing day... Every now and then, a scene just clicks. Perfectly clicks. I love those nows and thens so much. :)

GAAAAH my cats drive me crazy! Wednesday has been meowing a LOT lately. She has food. The door to the patio is open. Does she miss me? Do I have spinach between my teeth? Does she have a fatal injury I can't see and I am an awful awful father for not noticing and what does this all mean??????

I'm more curious where he went the bathroom for 2 days. I know he snuck out at nighttime, and he doesn't have the bladder and prostate of a 50-year old man, but still, holding it all day seems like a lot....
