Most Dems are obedient status quo managers. The smart ones at least see the disaster coming and understand that it will not spare any of them. Most of them are just compliantly going along because all they care about is preserving their own position, which, ironically, is what puts it most at risk.

I'll laugh my ass off if the cultish devotion to "dear leader" that liberals exhibit is what ends up destroying their own party. You can see the beginnings of a schism between the Biden dead enders and the establishment that wants him gone, because he's become a threat to their grift operation.

The office of the US presidency really went from being the Chief Overseer of a Slave and Genocide Republic to the Chief Overseer of a Slave, Genocide, Colonial, Military Industrial Complex and Cutthroat Capitalist Empire with the power to bomb anywhere on earth at any time.
It's come a long way.

In order for Biden to win, every poll would have to be wrong, AND he'd have to change the fundamentals of the race. He's losing every battleground state. He's losing blue states like Nevada and New Hampshire. He's down to the MoE in NJ, VA, NM, MN, and ME. Even New York is starting to look close.

Biden's lost every Dem media elite, which is only bad for him because liberals actually revere these clowns and take their word as gospel.

"Two private polls conducted in a swing New York House district and reviewed by POLITICO [...] found former President Donald Trump leading Biden there by 1 point, a virtual tie. And public polls over the last four months found Biden’s lead had winnowed to just 8 points across New York"

It's less about message discipline and more about the fact that Biden has not faced an adversarial press until now. He and his staff have been doing this stuff for years. The press has made excuses for him and refused to report on it, attributing it to right wing conspiracies. They've been complicit

Dems don't actually want to implement progressive policy. They moved mountains just to deny the nomination to a SocDem. The party exists to grift, engage in kayfabe, and contain the real left. They have liberals reacting defensively in 4-year cycles, not thinking long term, and that's what they want

It's not just the internal polling. Biden's numbers are so bad that he's doubled the number of swing states. He's losing in Nevada and New Hampshire. New Jersey, New Mexico, Minnesota, and Maine are all battlegrounds. The entire Dem coalition has collapsed. 2024 is going to be a rout.

Finally got around to watching Civil War, and I have to say, it felt like a remarkably safe film. The whole thing was way too neutral, and you're never really given a reason to take sides, so there are no stakes for the viewer. It's like, "Oh, that's happening now? Well, okay."

Weird how conflicting the reports are considering that a 7th House rep just came out to say he should drop out and a bunch are off the record echoing that sentiment, or giving very ambiguous public statements.

Bombing schools that are no longer schools but shelter houses! Killing young and old has become normal news. Burning cloth tents, and blowing up their family inside them has become normal! We sigh if the 10 martyrs are better than 100!

Here we go. They reached critical mass with Game Pass subscriptions and now they're seeing how much they can get away with before people bail. Microsoft has been the worst thing for gaming, ever since they forced gamers to pay for online multiplayer.
