The office of the US presidency really went from being the Chief Overseer of a Slave and Genocide Republic to the Chief Overseer of a Slave, Genocide, Colonial, Military Industrial Complex and Cutthroat Capitalist Empire with the power to bomb anywhere on earth at any time. It's come a long way.

In order for Biden to win, every poll would have to be wrong, AND he'd have to change the fundamentals of the race. He's losing every battleground state. He's losing blue states like Nevada and New Hampshire. He's down to the MoE in NJ, VA, NM, MN, and ME. Even New York is starting to look close.

Biden's lost every Dem media elite, which is only bad for him because liberals actually revere these clowns and take their word as gospel. "Stephanopoulos, then just off camera, is captured on fuzzy audio responding that he doesn’t think 'he can serve four more years.'"

It's less about message discipline and more about the fact that Biden has not faced an adversarial press until now. He and his staff have been doing this stuff for years. The press has made excuses for him and refused to report on it, attributing it to right wing conspiracies. They've been complicit

Dems don't actually want to implement progressive policy. They moved mountains just to deny the nomination to a SocDem. The party exists to grift, engage in kayfabe, and contain the real left. They have liberals reacting defensively in 4-year cycles, not thinking long term, and that's what they want

It's not just the internal polling. Biden's numbers are so bad that he's doubled the number of swing states. He's losing in Nevada and New Hampshire. New Jersey, New Mexico, Minnesota, and Maine are all battlegrounds. The entire Dem coalition has collapsed. 2024 is going to be a rout.

Finally got around to watching Civil War, and I have to say, it felt like a remarkably safe film. The whole thing was way too neutral, and you're never really given a reason to take sides, so there are no stakes for the viewer. It's like, "Oh, that's happening now? Well, okay."
