I had an old printer I’ve worked with before in Toronto do them. Shipping was challenging… I’m not sure what I’m going to do moving forward. There’s a couple commercial printers in town… but sounds like most people end up sending to Vancouver. But I have no experience with any in that city, so 🤷‍♂️

Yes. Those results are pretty perfect. I’m not sure I’ll end up buying one, but that little 17 could be a gem that just lives in the car, or in the everyday bag.

Digital screens screwed all this up, ya? We all look at everything now with so much brightness, and so close to our faces. Printing is an art, because viewing distance, and paper type are all part of the textures and rendering and help create a dynamic image. Not just density of pixels.

Oh gosh… love me a wlf 😂 Since coming back to film, and only ever shooting slrs and dslrs before… I have no love now for traditional slrs. I keep buying them, and not using them. Last week I shot a roll in my Contax N1, and just garbaged the roll without developing because I felt nothing.

These look fantastic 🙌 Again, I always think people should shoot as low an iso as they can in 135 … and even more so in 1/2 frame. Being upset that a 1/2 frame camera didn’t deliver clean results with Portra 800, is a tell.

Ya, I dunno. I honestly don’t try different developers that much. I used hc110 1:31 … Something like 8mins at 20C ish. I have maybe 4 photos from the roll that I like. But, I also shot a bunch in probably not the best light/veg.
