In a written question from Chlöe Swarbrick, Bishop was asked where the public had an opportunity to weigh in on projects. He replied that they could have apply to complete a regionally or nationally significant infrastructure or development project themselves. #nzpol

The Fast Track Approvals legislation could breach free trade agreements according to Forest & Bird and it looks like MFAT - normally involved in this kind of thing - didn’t provide any advice until after the bill was read in parliament. www.rnz.co.nz/news/in-dept... #nzpol
