bet they have a common TOTP seed across the entire event vs per ticket for offline verification so you can replace the TOTP suffix code from one 'legitimate' ticket to any number of others. should have used ticket number mixed with event seed in kdf or hmac to generate perticket TOTP seed. amateurs.

first and foremost- fuck Ticketmaster. I will not go to any show that uses them. 10 years and counting at this point. Second, it sounds like they fucked up doing TOTP suffixes in their barcodes? I don't have access to the full article..
