I dont know if something did change, but only UK citizens can vote in GEs, EU ones never could. They can vote in local elections only. I know from personal experience.

I know he's not picking on me because I've discussed it with other teachers. He's just a twat. He also expects to be friends with all of us. As you might expect, he has no friends. It's likely not just him either, they all perpetuate the culture.

Students rate every lesson so those are big numbers. If I ask him about June, he'll say it's because 1 student score out of 62 was 2/5 and the student said I didn't spend enough time on free-talk. I know it was only the one lesson 'cause he rang me to tell me about it as soon as he got it.

My brain is having a moment today. I used "daijobu desu" in a "yes, that's fine" instead of "no, thank you" way and then I pulled a "sumimasen" to the tune of "excuse me?", confusing the hell put of the Family Mart guy both times.
