I didn't know about the mechanics of the vent stack but I learned about the phenomenon from witness videos on the Weather Channel from people whose toilet bowls emptied themselves due to the steep pressure differential during a hurricane.

Was a little disappointed to learn that the mascot for the Buffalo Sabres is not a bison despite one being their logo. However, their mascot is a sabretooth tiger which is the next best thing.

When I worked at a mall Borders we closed early to do inventory. I go to the food court for dinner break so they had to raise the gate to let me back in and some rando combat rolls under the descending gate behind me because he "needed to buy something."
