Re Rec 12 hate register/monitoring has been worked on,but police still not releasing the full data to inform the public. They've only made partial releases, aren't doing so regularly or sharing enogh info to fully assess risks and who is most at risk (such as track intersectionality risks)

As a lawyer who worked in mass tort cases resulting from unsafe products, I would agree. Remember asbestos industry was unregulated, yet knowingly churned out unsafe. Old movies like Civil Action, The Insider, Erin Brockovich.. provide good examples why regulations and oversight needed.
