Sometimes you realize you need to escape to Northern California for several days without any agenda other than to take in some lovely scenery and drive a fun car along great roads. I even intentionally left the camera and Mac at home.

I would totally live with a GTS Sport Turismo for a while… if I knew it wouldn’t lose 75% of its value in three years. But that’s the big issue. We really don’t know how much worse the values will plunge. Where’s the floor?

No idea how long those battery packs are going to last, and there’s a ton of new electrical stuff inside the cabin. Spent a bit of time in an early one, and it had a bunch of warranty tickets. I wouldn’t buy a used one at all, unless the CPO warranty and maintenance plan made sure I’d be safe.

Yeah. The used EV market will continue to tank. I wouldn’t touch a used Taycan either. Service and continued depreciation will be brutal.
