AC was good. It does feel like it has too much going on though. A lot of "business" and less time to "hang out and chill." It will likely become a more infrequent convention for me. Also, I do hope that staff will endeavor to update their registration system to be a more agreeable wait.

To add to this, More Perfect Union posted a video on YouTube about how Techbros behind "A.I." and Crypto are backing Project 2025 and Trump, hoping for rollbacks of regulation. So, if you hate "A.I." being put into everything, or the Crypto scam, voting against the Republicans will be important.

I often find myself doing things by hand that would be easier to do with some layer blending/filters, like painting in extra colors or putting some surface scattering/detail, and I feel that's a bad habit I gotta optimize.

Writers often use "subject matter experts"β€”people who know a lot about a given topic you're writing about but don't have direct experience with. "Sensitivity readers" are SMEs. Turns out it's valuable to know what you're writing about, whether it's space science or being transgender.
