Somehow Theo is sleeping through these fireworks. If you’re using fireworks please don’t be a dickhead. Please also teach your kids not to be dickheads with fireworks. Stay out of our parks you cannot light fireworks there. Call 111 if you see a fire. Do not hesitate.

Awesome to catch up with Chlöe Swarbrick today and congratulate her on her massive win in Auckland Central. We discussed city centre projects, climate change, housing, and many other issues to help out the community and make Auckland even better.

Love seeing Waiwharariki Anzac Square being used the way we envisioned it would be. What was a carpark & an empty shop is now an exciting place to hangout, play, hold events & markets, sit, read & see friends. It’s also a safe environment to walk through Takapuna from the shops to the beach etc

A privilege to speak at my old school, for “Glenfield Intermediate Has Talent” and be a guest judge! So many talented students on stage, it was tough to choose the winners. Big turnout from whānau! Things like this remind me how awesome our community is and that the future is in good hands.

Kia ora Hayley. We recently called for a briefing on our drought preparedness plan, the plan is good. Have asked for advice into what we do as a city to deal with heat but not so much at an individual level. So that’s a great idea to go down that route. Will discuss tomorrow. Thank you.
