Almost 2 hours to do something that should have taken 20 minutes max. I'm a glorified babysitter with these people. If I was at least paid better I could swallow that pill, but not at this rate. Just hoping I can get back to refining my resume and getting started on looking into InfoSec proper.

I don't care how many times you tell me it's fine. You said that before and you were wrong. Saying the same thing OVER AND OVER AGAIN doesnt change that. These IT folks are driving me up a goddammed wall. I really hate that most of my job is questioning people and being proven right to do so.

Another night working at 10 pm. Also love our dev team trying to use automation scripts they "thoroughly tested" only for them to not work after half an hour of trying and having to use the manual process. I'm not doing anything either but have to supervise because they can't be trusted. Love it...

So just found out someone has been thirsting over Bakool Ja Ja from Dawntrail to such an extent publications are reporting on it. Even the official FFXIV Twitter handle asked how people were liking Dawntrail and just posted a picture of him. This is the FFXIV content I live for.

Recently discovered this bot account and man, this is taking me back. I loved watching Iron Chef back as a teen in junior and high school. Always wanted to be a judge to try these super elaborate dishes. Also discovered the whole series on YouTube so gonna be watching that while working now.

Ryne was able to sleep soundly through the night thankfully. He does seem to be doing a lot better. Just praying this isn't a temporary and he's over the worst of it. Thankfully it's the week so we aren't dealing with holidays and weekends but still a bit on edge. Hoping for the best.

Praying Ryne can sleep tonight. ER Doctor gave him good stuff for pain. But I'm still dealing with some PTSD of seeing him writhing and screaming in pain the past several nights. I'm so tired, but also scared to go to sleep and be woken up by his screams. Broke down today thinking about it.

Ryne is at a non VA hospital getting a new MRI done since something is clearly impacting his spinal injury. Hoping they can find something to help and give him something that ACTUALLY works so he can sleep. Having to fight getting emotional. Just want my bear to be okay so we can live our life.

VA ER gave Ryne some powerful painkillers as an injection but just some kind of cream for home. I'm really scared he'll just be in agonizing pain again today or tonight. He's suffering and I want him to be able to just sleep at this point. If we aren't responding online please be patient.

I hate this. Hearing him screaming and crying in pain is awful. I just want him to sleep and not suffer so much. I don't know what else I can do. Even going to the ER twice this weekend didn't do anything.

Lots of changes the past 3 years, but all for the better. My bear gives me a reason to want to wake up in the morning and is always looking out for me no matter what. So thankful to have him in my life and looking forward to many more years together. π

Good old chaos on a Monday. Service account said it'll expire on 6/30. IT says no that's wrong, it's good til August. Accounting goes to runs reports. Reporting server is down. Account shows expired. So CLEARLY IT WAS SET TO EXPIRE ON THE 30TH! Center of Excellence my ass.

Looks like even Dawntrail is getting nasty server issues. Gilgamesh crashed a couple hours ago and waited in a nearly 6k queue get in just to get booted out. Now getting a 3001 error stating the world if full and can't even get into a queue. So much for playing tonight.

I was always so Impressed that the EMH was able to not just fix their DNA that was altered by pushing beyond warp 10, but that he got their bodies back to normal over the course of one commercial break. That's a top quality doctor.

Also, got my flight for Megaplex. Will be joining my bear who'll be driving down there a week earlier. Looking forward to going back to that con, which was the first con I ever went to back in 2009, and hopefully seeing old friends. Here's hoping the weather isn't too terrifying at con time.

Last night watching Raw they had an angle involving a VHS and enjoyed hearing Michael Cole explain that to younger viewers who've never seen one. I was annoyed at myself when I called a VCR a VHS Player... I grew up with them Used them Learned how to copy tapes from Blockbuster on them WHY!?

Was a good day yesterday. Went to my first prise event then went to a gay bar with friends at night. Helped a couple pups figure themselves out and met some very cool people. Didn't get to bed til about 4 but was a good time all around.

Got my outfits for all my jobs for Dawntrail set. It's been a crazy ride through this story. Sad to see some of these threads end after learning about them over 10 years. Still, I think Endwalker was great and a good ending to our first journey. Off to Tural next Friday!

This is pretty spot on. So many online places I had friends, I'd then find on the next place when that one shut down, like AIM, or just because everyone migrated to the new place, like when Telegram started became the place to talk for furs. Now it's BlueSky as Twitter goes down the shitter.

Like I want to be sexual and make content almost daily but don't feel I have the time for it or am asking to much to try to do it. Also feel like I somehow don't deserve it and can't shake that mindset at times. Even my trip to see my parents was so stressful it didn't feel like a vacation.
