We’re lucky enough to have five or six inhabited osprey nests within 15-minute drives of our place. Here’s one in its nest at Granville Centre along Highway 1 in Nova Scotia. FujiFilm FinePix S1 (long zoom), Thursday 20 June 2024

At the start of my career, I used Sol Katz's data translation code that I downloaded from FTP. I learned so much about geo data formats and building software on different platforms from that experience. Naming the award for Sol Katz might be my favorite thing I have ever seen done in the geo world.
