Yeah that's fair. I did the whole spiel with the art feed to substitute the lack of a media tab a month ago but now that the feature was added it's no longer as relevant as it used to be. An sensible filter for my feed can not come soon enough though x)

As much as that might help the individual user, I think this filter has to be integrated in the vanilla experience. If this app becomes open to public on day and advertisers and bots realize they can just spam posts to get the most traffic, it would kill the site instantly.

Actually same, keeps me from following some people who's content I enjoy except for the occational rl nudes/porn, would be cool if that could be filtered but that might be tricky to do. (also agree, good for them :B)

Nah I honestly do not encourage that. Reposts are perfectly fine, I just want moderation. My problem is with seeing spammed content from 1 person I follow and my feed is completely filled with only their posts.

I usually repost when I feel like the original upload was not seen by people in different time zones, or if the post is old but deserves to be seen again :P I think it's ok to repost multiple times, just don't repost 30 different things in a matter of a minute, it clogs up the timeline.

I wish Bluesky would filter 20+ reposts in a row from the same person I follow on my timeline. All I can do is mute that person entirely to stop it from happening. ¯\(°_o)/¯
